...which means that the correct way to pry off the cover is to pry it forward, not up. Prying it forward slides the tab/spring out of its slot (blue circle), and slides the molded loop off its mounting tab (red circle). Prying it up, not forward, and especially prying it up from the front, will leave you with a cracked molded loop (if you haven't already zoomed in on the second photo, take a look now).
