How do I remove the part still in the engine block? It seems to be stuck in the block.

What is the hole in the choke housing with the white stuff in it? This is a 670 Holley Avenger which I bought new and has been used on my car for the last 45000 miles. I never noticed the white stuff before. Carb works fine.

Is this a 8.5 or 6.5 power valve? I wrote 6.5 in my log book, but with 11" of vacuum at idle I thought I would have put in 8.5 power valve.

65 327 4 spd. Clutch cross shaft. The frame side has a felt seal and the engine side has a rubber seal that was pushed out and distorted. I ordered new seals and recieved 2 felt seals. Does the engine side use both felt and rubber seal. Or do I get rid of the rubber one and just use the 2 felt seals?

4 more holes in passager inner fender. They don't line up for the voltage regulator, nor is there any voltage reg. mounting holes in the rad support at all. It's on the driver side inner fender. Where should the voltage reg be on what I assume is a '65 327 300hp non air car. Battery on drivers side.

This is the way it was when I bought the car. But I have seen pictures where are the regulator is further back beside the alternator on the inner fender. Also no holes in the rad support 4 the voltage regulator.

Drivers side serial # 4100111. If this is a corvette trans, should it not be 4S100111 or 4A100111?

'65 327 4spd. Built Nov '64.
I would think this would be done at the factory, an error?
It looks like the the 6 was flattened out and restamped with the 7.
