Triple X (2002)

As if the whole movie was a shout-out to the rebellious culture of the early 2000’s, Triple X features Xander Cage (Vin Diesel) a world-class stuntman turned secret agent. The Corvette is seen in the very first scene of the movie, as Cage steals a politician's car and drives it off a bridge. The Vette was outfitted with multiple cameras, and so Cage could record the event from different angles and give a little speech before punishing the senator for trying to ban video games. The scene was packed with cameos by multiple extreme sports professionals, including Tony Hawk, Mike V, and Rick Thorne.

Junkman (1982)

Writer H.B. Halicki was responsible for several automotive action hits, including the original Gone in 60 Seconds, which featured an amazing 40-minute long car chase where 92 vehicles were destroyed. Junkman managed to top that, wrecking over 150 vehicles, including motorcycles and planes. The movie follows Harlan Hollis (Halicki) as he fights to stay alive and avoid hired mercenaries that are all out to kill him. The bright yellow Corvette Stingray was a part of an insane chase that resulted in Hollis driving over multiple parked cars in order to outwit the police force.

True Lies (1994)

Lots of people say that Bill Paxton's sleazy salesman act made True Lies just a bit more likable. The Corvette was shown for sale, as Simon (Bill Paxton) tried his hardest to sway Harry Tasker (Schwarzenegger) into making a purchase. The whole scene is filled with Simon, droning on and on with crude comments, to the point that he starts talking about Tasker’s wife. Tasker gets in and shows him how to really drive, and gets annoyed by Simon's rambling to the point where he imagines backhanding him the face. Justice, however, doesn’t really get served until a little later in the movie.

Rush Hour (1998)

Back when Jackie Chan was cranking out movies practically every year, Rush Hour graced us with its presence. The movie following Detective Carter (Chris Tucker) and Lee (Jackie Chan) as they team up to rescue the Chinese Consul’s daughter. The movie’s packed with over-the-top action and hilarious banter. The Black Corvette featured here was driven by none other than Detective Carter. It's a beautiful black-on-black 72’ Stingray, with a small block 350 and chrome Dayton wire wheels. The car was last seen for sale on eBay for a listed price of $49,998.00.

The Last Stand

One of Schwarzenegger’s more recent endeavors, The Last Stand, featured him as a retired narc taking on the role of Sheriff Ray Owens. When a crazed drug kingpin makes his way to Owens' town, he has to take matters into his own hands. The ZR1 was driven by the wanted criminal and is featured in some crazy stunt work, including ramming a Suburban head-on. The only reason The Last Stand was able to have all these stunts was due to access to seven different Corvettes. After everything was said and done, Chevy only received two back in decent condition.
