2015 Corvette Gets $1,000 Price Increase

If you haven’t gotten that order in yet for your 2015 Corvette, you may have just cost yourself an extra grand.

As of yesterday, General Motors has increased the price by $1,000 on all 2015 coupes — both Stingrays and Z06s — according to a Corvette Forum thread started here by the Kerbeck Corvette dealership.

If you got your order in before yesterday, you don’t have anything to worry about. But if you’ve been holding out to decide on a few features, it’s going to cost you a little bit more to drive it home.

Well, that is if you’re buying a coupe. Pricing for all the convertible models remains the same.

Honestly, I don’t see it being that big of a deal considering that the Corvette is still one hell of a bargain with how much car you’re getting for the money. But then again, I could see how missing a savings of $1,000 by a few days could be a little upsetting, especially given that increasing the cost mid-model year seems a little odd.
