Mom Goes Corvette Joyriding With Kids in Trunk

I guess we should never be surprised at how stupidity reveals itself – even when it comes to the world of Corvettes.

Take, for example, 29-year-old Jessica Reger of Pennsylvania, who put her children, ages 3 and 5, in the back of a Corvette so she could go for a joyride with a friend. Luckily, someone saw Reger stuffing the kids in the trunk and alerted police, who pulled the Corvette over and charged Reger and the driver with reckless endangerment, according to a Daily Mail report.

Hopefully, Reger, who was thrown in jail for the incident, has learned that putting her kids in the trunk to go for a joyride in a Corvette is a pretty stupid idea.

Then again, given Reger’s previous rap sheet — which includes everything from shoplifting to endangering the welfare of a child — it’ll probably take a lot more than a little jail time to get her to change her ways.
