OPTIMA Presents Corvette of the Week: Production Line Blues
This is a photo of Tom Jacobs’ Night Race Blue Metallic Stingray Convertible with a gray top and interior making its way down the production line at Bowling Green. The National Corvette Museum recently emailed Tom this “sneak preview” picture because he purchased the New Corvette Owner’s Photo Album; a package that allows you to document your Corvette’s journey down the production line.
Tom, known as “teejake” on the forum, has four weeks to wait until he can pick up his Stingray at the National Corvette Museum. I can imagine during the next four weeks Tom’s eagerness will be on the threshold of overwhelming. I probably wouldn’t survive two days of the order-to-delivery interval.
