Installing an aftermarket HU in my 2001 Z06 and will be using an aftermarket amp/speaker combo. Which wiring adapter do I use?

If you're gutting everything you don't need one. Just use the 3 wire pigtail for your power source, it's usually taped in the upper left corner of the fuse box area.

So I definitely won't need any adapter then? Several people have mentioned the ROM-VETTE adapter.

The ROEM is only needed if you want to keep the stock door subs functional. All a new HU needs from a C5 is the 3 power wires in the footwell. If you're doing all new amp/speakers they get everything from the HU, so no interface adapter needed

You will still need an antenna adapter and mounting plate
