Wheels for track and road
I have heard that some of the original Z06 wheels broke with semi slicks. Now the Michelin propose the cups with the oem dimensions. Is it safer to use other wheels? what are the alternative best wheels for a semi-slick track use to be used on the normal roads as well? I know the CCW but do no like the design.

I have a number of different designs in the ForgeLine wheel.
Depending on what you would like to do. In 18" diameters we have the one piece EV1R wheel. This is one of the lightest 18" wheels on the market today and also one of the very few 18" diameter wheel that will clear the 15" Brembo and StopTech brake kits with no spacer. It even fits the 15.5" carbon ZR1 brakes!

If you want to do an 18 and 19" combo then we can move to a three piece wheel like the ZX3R wheel, which we ran on our own race cars.

All of them are more than strong enough for track use, and I even choose them for my own street car, so there is no issues at all using them as a daily driver.
