I really like this as a rule of thumb.

I use these and they (at least the HRW size) do fit in the C6, albeit a tight fit.

Keep in mind if you are going to be using a 6 point harness, you will need an anchor in the appropriate position under the seat. IMHO a fabricated seat base is a worthwhile consideration for this provision. Such a 'bracket' can be anchored into the OEM floor fastener points, as well as additionally on the sides (through the tunnel & frame).

If you go full cage this can be integrated into the cage, as well.

Also re: attachment points for the seat, watch this:

Regarding harness type, you may not find a standard sub belt setup to be comfortable. There are a few that use another attachment point to the buckle like the Schroth Hybrid, or Racetech single seater models.

Note the routing of the sub belts, going *around* rather than over:

Racetech seats are AMAZING! Have them in both race cars. David is a heck of a nice guy, as is Brian.

Google "HPDE deaths"...it is very sobering. http://lmgtfy.com/?q=HPDE+deaths

You've heard the saying "Dress for the job you want...."

I say: "Dress/Prep for the death/injury you do not want..."
