Default Emergency Brake cable Clips

On the Emergency brake cable sheave located on the trailing arm, there is a clip holding it where it transistions to plain cable. I have purchased stamped metal clips from LICS and they do not work, but I have seen a spring wire formed clip and was wondering where I can get these?
Thanks,
Charlie

Assume this is the clip that holds the cable to the bracket on the trailing arm? Wonder too why the spring steel clip did not work. Should have been fine unless there was a mod to the bracket or the cable is not correct (or you got a bad clip!)

Anyway...an E-ring from your local hardware store will work too, if you're not worried about NCRS points..

A good parts store may have all of these original type wire and spring clips (probably a Dorman product)..

I used "mickey mouse clip" to attach my e-brake cables to the trailing arm...they hold just fine.
I bought mine from the local vette restorer here in my home town..
try Corvette Central i have had goood results from them..

The wire "mickey mouse" clips are correct for the parking brake cable sheath attachment, both at the frame corner and at the trailing arm. They didn't show up in the Assembly Manual until '67. The NCRS JG's still show the flat spring steel U-clips (which are only used on brake hoses), and will be changed in their next revision. Photos below are from an untouched Bowtie car.

Jack is correct. "Mickey Mouse" clips are the "parking brake cable retainer clips" used on both ends of the shielded section of the cable where it clips to frame and TA. All of the major vendors carry them and you might try your local auto parts houses or a local Chevy dealer. The flat clips are used for the rubber brake hose fittings, etc.

The part number on the bag is a Corvette Central part number.

And when you put them on, you should turn them, so that the open side is down.
