Default Fuel Line Replacement @ Tank ? 1970

Two questions regarding rubber fuel line replacement on a '70 BB.

The delivery line from the tank to the fuel pump is no big deal to reach. What is the trick to access the return line where it attaches to the tank? Do you have to drop the tank to get to it?

Can you access the tank overflow line connection by removing the filler neck assembly & door?

I can see them both in the AIM but I can't get a visual on them on the car.

Thanks in advance for the help!

Hi Ray,
The fuel return line on your 70 BB is in the same location as my 71 SB. You can reach up along the side of the tank.
The drain hose can be replaced with the tank in place but it's hard to reach. You need to reach through the gas door and from the underside at the rear of the tank.
Regards,
Alan

Thanks for the pics Alan.

Looks like you better flip your return line clamp at the tank over or you will not be able to reach yours in the future without a lot of work.

Thanks again!!

It'll have to wait till the body is off again in 2050.
