Default Corvettes at SEMA, 2010

Here's a few of the Corvettes I saw at SEMA this week. The black split-window with the old-style fuel in jection unit melded into a big block modified motor was breathtaking. The other weird black split window was at the Barrett-Jackson display as was very togh to photo with the black carpet, sorry. Doors rotated out, as did the rear panel of the car. Full custom, will be at B/J in 2011.
Ill have another post of non-Corvettes from SEMA, either here or on OT. Too many pics to handle.

Hi vb,
Some interesting amounts of work and money put into those cars.
Where do they go once their time in the spotlight is over?
Regards,
Alan

Depends on why they were there. Some were customers' cars being shown as examples of awesome work, some were actually available (like at the Barrett-Jackson booth)...

I think there were 4 zillion versions of 2010 Camaros there.

Some great looking cars Steve. Even the NCRS guys have to admit Bobby Alloway builds a beautiful car. His attention to detail is 2nd to nobody. The most amazing quality of what he builds is he deviates very little from stock body lines. A lot of what he does is painted in black and his lines are lazer straight. Check out this C1 he did that is built very similar to the '63. http://www.artmorrison.com/gallery/m...g2_itemId=6444

I dont think NCRS guys dont like great work. Ive had several people be surprised I like the SEMA stuff. Just 'cause I prefer stock on the cars I drive doesnt mean I dont appreciate beautiful modified stuff. I just dont care for the terribly tacky custom stuff I see so often and unfortunately I usually say so.

I was at SEMA as well. Personal favorite were that black split window and the blue road/trac car at the GM display. Awesome show! Not too crazy about the rear engine C2 - not my style!
