Default Engine bay wiring/vacuum line photos wanted

Hopefully you guys can help me out. I'm working on my 71 resto and am currently reinstalling the wiring and vacuum lines in the engine compartment. I've been working to re-establish the proper routing for these lines using a combination of the AIM and photos taken before I disassembled everything. The AIM has been a big help, but it's sometimes hard to tell exactly how things are routed and positioned relative to other components. My photos are helping, but Bubba did a job on my car so I don't fully trust what I see in those photos.

Any pictures of the wiring and vacuum line routing in the engine compartment would be really appreciated - especially of the firewall and headlamp areas. Hopefully someone has a few good shots without the engine in - that would be perfect.

Thanks!

Send a PM to Alan 71. I'm sure he already has all the photo shots you would need to put it back to 'stock' condition.

I am at the same stage with my 70 trying to remember what goes where. I also noticed that you have a site on your project. When you get more firewall pics please share them. I see you are in Waterboro which is only a few miles from me (Scarborough) I hope to see your car around when you get it done. If you ever come to OOB stop by we are in Pine Point and I have a few projects going on in the garage.

I'm sure Alan will have the pics. Hope he posts here - my under hood is still a mess. I'm still waiting for Alan's AIM!

An absolute work of art!!! Alan to the rescue again... You must have a bazillion pics prestaged... If my ride was that pristine, I guess I would be taking pictures all day long!!!

Alan, appreciate you always taking the time to help us out...

Hi,
Thanks for the comments.
Roco, the book would only sell abut 8 copies because all the pictures are of just one, low option, sb, 4-speed, car.
If you think of the content of the Dobbin's VV Fact Books, or the 69 Stingray Guidebook, they cover such a wide variation of cars, which makes them useful for so many people.
Regards,
Alan

Thanks so much Alan. I was just about to send you a PM, but now I don't have to. Your Corvette is amazingly clean, I can only hope that mine comes out this nicely. Just beautiful!

Small world! I'm only about a 20 minute drive from OOB and used to go through the pine point area pretty regularly. Next time I'm going down to OOB I'll try to remember to drop you a PM.

By chance, do you have any good leads on a local body shop with Corvette experience?

My website is definitely a labor of love. Lots of effort but I'm way to far into it to give up now! I'll be sure to post some photos when I get it all put together. I'm about 80% done and Alan's photos will be a huge help as I wrap up the rest of it. Maybe this weekend I'll get everything routed and in place. Of course I said that last weekend too!

Holy crap, Alan. Your car just makes mine look like an embarassment to all Corvette-dom.

Absolutely, rediculously, increadibly beautiful underhood shots. Breathtaking.
