Just you. Interesting to see hidden headlights in a new design.

Ok I'll take a shot at this. The C3 Corvette's "Coke bottle" shape is what makes it distinct. IMCO the high fender arches are what creates the "Coke bottle" shape. In recent years several Italian, English, and even Japanese cars have high fender arches. So yes I can see how people see the resemblance. Did someone say "imitation is the greatest form of flattery"?

That really wide rear spoiler is going to cause problems.

Agreed, it looks like a C7 knock off. They copied it right down to the ugly tail lights!
.........................

Just trying to be humorous. Don't think the C7 taillights are ugly, do think they should be round.

No.... They're just ugly. The C7's tail looks like something out of a "Transformer" movie.

I kept thinking the same thing...until I sat in one. Then I walked around the car again and...they just fit. Any oval or round configuration would take away from the lines of the car IMHO.

I agree. If the C7 had round lights everyone would be complaining they don't fit the rest of the car.

I agree, I like how they look and they fit the lines of the car. Leaving a dated looking rear would not have worked for me.

As for this one, I dont see the C3 cues. Looks like a big Z3 to me.

I think it's "Imitation is the SINCEREST form of flattery". Sorry for the pedantry.

The Opal GT is the only car that I can think of that stole some of the C3's unique styling. This Aston Martin Vulcan definately looks similar to a C7; or the C7 looks like an Aston Martin Vulcan. Pretty embarrassing if both parked side by side.

What better car to copy-cat a Corvette than an Aston Martin!

I've always wondered what the C-7 should have looked like......now I know! Yes, I definitely see the C-3 cues.

Them just need to lose the rear wing and clean up the front wing and your there. Oh, it would also need to be available in BH Green.
