For what it is worth....because you are new to this and 'green'...as you put it.
It is always wise to write/state your year model. Simply writing C3 does not 'cut' it.
And although it occurs quite often here on the Forum...which is fine...so do not take this like I am complaining....because I AM NOT....but...when you post a question...and then ask something totally different that what you asked initially...makes it hard to comment on two totally different issues....because which one is the MOST important to you.
So until you have checked what "Dean Fuller" suggested...and give feed back on it...adding more is pointless at this time.

What year?
Who is he?
Seats?
The filter?
This post took more turns in less posts than a road up a mountain. Start again, with one problem, more details and we can start helping you. Otherwise my advice is this;
Start it by adding fuel to the carb and let it run. If it keeps running then something must've been clogged that isn't anymore. If it stops, then something's wrong with your fuel supply. Start with the easy parts and work your way through the hole system.

Hi,
It looks like a 73, but from this distance…. all the way across the country…can't quite see what fuel problem might be.
Did it run to get it on the trailer?
Dubs is right.
