Default Here ya go Mr. Bats, a reverse tilt nose

Interesting 71 Mako convertible on ebay. First time I ever saw the whole nose tilt upwards and back towards the windshield.

So, think this'll help the high speed stability issues that's plagued corvettes since the days of ye olde tyme?

I like it. It would take at least 10K for a new interior and engine but it would be a fun car done right.

I dig it but not the rear opening nose, looks like it would making getting at about anything tricky,
I also do not car for cowl hoods on makos especially pro street sized ones, but all in all I could see this car fetching it's asking price getting a few tweaks and being a real stunner....

I'd need a hardhat to set the timing!!!

It looks like it would need a little more engineering on the tilt front hold down- I can't see going 70MPH safely!!!

Plus- it looks as you have to disconnect the front lights to open the hood.

I don't think I'd like working on the engine with a few hundred pounds of fiberglass hanging over my head...
