"This car has the rally type wheels, power steering to assist with the turning of those wheels, disc brakes up front to slow things down..."

The rear discs get short shrift in the write up. Could it be that the overwhelming majority of that era's muscle cars still had drum brakes out back and the writer simply forgot that every Vette since the '65 models had 4 wheel disc brakes?

Hi jr,
This car is the result of the restoration work done by Rowdy Rat.
It's an exceptional car in so many ways!
Regards,
Alan

Thanks for the kind words Alan!

The orange car in your post looked OK from about twenty feet away, but had many issues... Nothing a full blown restoration couldn't solve!

The restoration of the car was covered on my Facebook page for those who'd like to see more detail.

Regards,

Stan Falenski

Hi,
Here's some more of Stan's work on this car.
It wouldn't be so bad if he could do this caliber of work but was a jerk!
Or, if he did pretty mediocre work but was a really nice person!
BUT, he does this kind of work AND is a nice person…..which has left the rest of us trying to figure out how to step up our game!
Regards,
Alan

Stunning car! Not a "muscle car", but wow, that's an amazing ride.

Hi jr,
A couple more!
Regards,
Alan

This is always one of my favorite views on 68-73 cars. The curve and sweep is just perfect it seems… I want to think that the clay modeling had something to do with this.
To my eye cars designed on the computer now are 'perfect', but lack the heart these older cars had.
