Hi p,
This info is from the "chevelle stuff" site.
As 530 the engine goes in your car like most bb engines from the era.
Regards,
Alan

3855961 1966-67 396ci 325 & 360 hp, 2 bolt

The ED suffix was used in 66 & 67. The H could indicate Holley (intake manifold indicates that as well)
ED 1966 Chevelle 396 325 Mt
ED 1967 Chevelle 396 325 Mt

Good luck... GUSTO

Hi p,
Here's a source that's quite dependable and helpful.

http://www.nastyz28.com/chevy-engine-code-stampings.php

Scroll down to the Suffix Code Lists and click on the appropriate suffix group.

Regards,
Alan

Another useful source is Mortec Chevy Small-Block Enthusiasts. It says for Small-Block enthusiasts, but also includes Big-Block as well as W-motor (348-409) info.

Good luck... GUSTO
