2020 C3 of the Year Finalist - Modified

Default New Paint and New Shoe(s)

Greetings, I recently painted my 73 and was able to have "new" American Racing Daisies. I have included a picture of the daisy and the regular aluminum corvette wheel for comparison.

Looking good. Either wheel works for me.

Hi 73,
I think the ARDs really do a LOT more for the paint scheme than the Corvette wheels!
Regards,
Alan

I like the originals....they are unique to later model C3's, and really make the car look awesome....in my opinion.

The A/R Daisys and the paint compliment each other perfectly.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I like the daisies for sure. I am surprised that I like the vette wheels as much as I do. One factor may be that I had the rear (vette) wheels widened 1" to the inside. A 275/60/15" tire fits very well, and the width is directed to the inside of the fender well. So the stance is better, in my opinion with the vette wheels on the rear.

Homage to my wife.
Engine call outs. My cost effective performance mod yet! 385 ci.
Moved it outside. Began to install some of the trim bits and pieces.. I have the matching A.R. "daisy" front wheels, no tires mounted yet.

To me, the daisy's are definitely the right look for the car. Great job so far!

I guess I have different tastes. The C3 wheels look better on your car the way it is painted. The "Daisy's" look a little tame for that paint job. The stock wheel has more 'muscle'.
