Default Performer Q-jet Choke Adjustment

I just realized my Edelbrock Q-jet has the choke cover held on with rivets, instead of screws. How would one go about adjusting the tension on the choke with this set-up ?

Drill out the rivets, make the adjustment then go back with self taping screws.

Before you drill out the rivets, make sure you understand how to set the choke up. There really shouldn't be any need to adjust the choke cover: The cover adjustment determines the duration of the choke application - not how rich or lean the car is running with the choke applied (in spite of the "rich - lean" verbage in the cover)...
