Thanks Brian, I'm pretty happy with the seats.. although I wish I could have got a few more wrinkles out. I'm thinking they are due to some of the foam being warn down too much.

Mr. Mike's has a whole slew of patterns and colors the choose from. I chose the "vetter style" regular two tone (the other option has the head rest the same as the inner color) with vette#3 logos added.

They are much more comfortable than the stock seats, but just a warning they do sit a good 1 1/2" higher than the stock seats. I installed them on the stock rails simply welding tabs on the rails to accomodate for the narrower bolt patter on the bottom of the seats.

I am 5'11" and with the stock T-tops in my head is about 1/4" from the roof, but I now have the Astro One peice glass (acrylic) top so head room is much improved!

It has been 5 years since I've touched the vette! After moving to Hawaii for a few years and the car being in storage it is finally back in my garage and I'm on vacation again. I lost quite a few parts when my brothers garage burnt down, but luckily the car wasn't there and his family were safe.

Time to get to work!

She is finally in full color! TCP Global Firemist Cobalt Blue BC/CC. It had great coverage in only two coats, but I had to add a third w/ drop coat to eliminate any tiger stripes. The paint cane out great, but there are a couple of places I can some body work at the right angle. If I had to do it again I wouldn't have used just epoxy to build with 2k glaze. For a novice a high build would have been better. Over all I'm happy with it, it has been 5 years after all.

Well, glad to see it in color! Two weeks can turn into a long haul, that's for sure. Now you can plan on having it for your son you mentioned some years ago....looks good! You'll be ready to buy another one to do!!

I've always liked blue Corvettes, and yours is a nice one!
Install a fire extinguisher, and then enjoy the road.
