Default do my trailing arms need rebuilt?

On my 72 the spindle flange has a little wabble to it, the rear spindle seems tight (no slop) i'm assuming the spindle flange should be tight also. thank

You need a dial indicator and then pull the spindle in/out and measure. Factory spec is 0.001"-0.008", although IMO anything above 0.004" should be fixed.

When I rebuild them I set them up from about .001" to .003" run-out.

Tightening the nut more will not do anything to change the run-out reading measurement. Under the assumption that it was correctly torqued initially.
