I like the vintage race look so I went with American Racing 15X8s with gray centers. Tires are vintage Good Year sports car racing “Billboards” 26.5/8/15 front and rear. The off sets are different between the front and rear to give it a staggered look. It did require relocation of the e-brake lines and 1/4 inch spaces on the rear with longer studs.

Where did you get the spacers and longer studs? I should be running 1/2" spacers with my wheels. Thanks.

Thanks!
Longer studs and spacers are available at Summit or Jegs. If you need to go 1/2 inch I would would use a hub centric wheel spacer/adapter to ensure you stay safe

Haha thanks man it's a 05 wrangler with a 2.5inch lift on 31s. Every bushing and moving part I replaced. Due to a design flaw I had a worn thrust bearing which caused crankshaft end play. Rebuilt the engine over the winter in 4 days because it's my daily driver haha the whole front end off and engine/ Trans removed

Thanks
My car was built right off of Danny's blue print of the " Blue Rocket "
mine is few ponies short of his high revvvving LP Power Plant but other than that , They are pretty darn close....
He was instrumental in the build & a great guy to boot...
If he would just take some driving lessons, he might amount to something ! Ha Ha
There are at least 4 more high end C3 cars being built right now that I know of. Next year you will see some awesome cars out there in this style.
Bob B, JR J, Chris G, & Greg C are building cars on this platform...

Yeah, I'm friend with Danny, Cris and Mike so I'm familiar with their cars and builds. The couple the Cris bought his car from autocross with the same group I run with so I'm familiar with that car before he had it as well.

Great Guys
Bob & Greg build VERY high end stuff.
Bob's Orange Crush pick up truck is a SEMA special.
Greg is a great builder too. He has built many high end Chevelles & Camaros.
I look forward to seeing all these cool cars in action next year

Sure it's a C-2, but it basically has C-3 wheel openings
Its getting harder and harder to stay old school, unless you go all drag radials or something like hoosier race tires - neither of which last very long on the street.
Fronts = 15x10 TT's widened to 11" (1" added to inside - 4.75" bs) w/ 275/50's (no longer made, but I have 2 extra)
Rears = 15x10 TT's widened to 12" (2" added to inside - 5.75" bs) w/295/50's
Flares have about 1" less coverage than L88 flares on a C-3, which is one reason I widened the wheels - pull the tire inwards to clear the flares, but keeps the look of the one piece classic Torque Thrusts. Also removes most all of the sidewall flex, so lateral reactions are on par with 17" or 18" low profile tires because lateral movement of the tire on the rim is basically zero.

Hi, I'm looking at buying some Centerline wheels too. What backspaing did you go with? Vetts look awesome!
