Default door locked

Does anyone have any ideas on how to open my drivers door on my 77? It will not open with a key or from the inside as well, it feels like the outside handle is not activating the internal mechanism in the door. Thanks

what worked for me was using interior door handle and twisting interior lock **** simultaneously.
It took a few tries and it popped right open.
Im now in the process of trying to adjust rods so i wont have this process in future.
Then whole mechanism will come out and be cleaned and re greased

JUST BE AWARE....the clip that goes ON the rod that you slide into the outside door handle needs to be ON the rod before you slide it into the hole in the lever of your outside door handle....and NOT slide the rod in the handle first and then install the clip. This special clip MUST go on the rod FIRST. IF you do it wrong...the chances that the rod can slide into the hole in the outside door handle lever INCREASES GREATLY...and that is when you can have it jamb on you.

The clip that goes onto the door handle rod is the ONLY one like that in the door.

This is the clip:
