Default How to test 1115343 TI Amplifier

I have a Delco 1115343 TI Amplifier that I've had for probably 20 years that I would like to sell. But before I sell it, I would like to test it to know if its a good part or not. It's in the box and doesn't appear to have been installed but I don't know that for sure. Does anyone know how to test one?

Hi PM,
To actually test the pulse amplifier it must be opened up and disassembled to some degree.
The Chassis Service Manual includes a 12 step list of checks of the transistors, diodes, capacitors, and resistors.
I don't see anything that appears to be a test of it's function.
So ???
Hopefully someone familiar with TI will be along.
Regards,
Alan

B to E, E to B, E to c, c to e. out of circuit with ohm meterr B to R on ohms Should read one way reversing leads but not the other B to C one way but not the other also reversing leads. If checking check B to C if any reading it's bad.

The TI module is pretty darn simple, and ought to be easy to bench test.

Internal tests would be easier and quicker if an oscilloscope is used to narrow down any problem areas.

Easy once it's on the bench, but how do you get to the little s.o.b. ?
