Default ZR1 wheels on a C4

Has anyone seen a C4 with 19" wheels up front and 20" wheels in the back? Basically the same dimensions as the newer ZR1.

soooooooo hot. the ONLY negative comments i get about the 85 and 87 are the nasty wheels. im sure many like and appreciate them. but put contemporary wheels on a c4 and itchanges completely to a modern looking supercar. all for 5k.

im partial to the c6z06 rims in comp grey per my avatar pic.

You're right it's not for everyone but this car we can make an exception.

They look nice

How did you go with the ABS and ASR?

Regarding the staggered front back rim size 19'' front and 20'' back, have noticed someone who did that and had ABS and ASR warning lights afterwards on a late C4.

A stock C6 Z06/ZR1 rim tire combo will not fit on a stock C4. I tried mounting my Z06 rims with 285's & 325's on my 96 GS. The fronts fit, but the rears rubbed on the mufflers.

Perhaps spacers and or an aftermarket cat back would allow it to work

Yeah, I've heard about issues with that. I spoke with CCW re some 505As, and apparently someone with a 95 (I think) ZR-1 had warning lights come up when he used the wheels.

For my 89 I won't have that issue however.

The 505As I'm looking at would be similar to this except with a 4.5" lip on the rear instead of the 3.5" pictured.
