I have a new set of wires, and a new set of plugs. I will swap them before I do anything else. I also have new gaskets for the throttle body, looks like it's never been off the intake. Air filter is new, and so is the fuel pump, the opti, coil, and icm.

Got the Plugs and wires changed, went with E3 plugs and Taylor wires, my missing and surging when warm are gone. The car pulls to redline hard, warm or cold. Still have a 1200 rpm idle though.

Geardo, you solved the starting, solved the warm surging/missing, did you ever solve the high idle?

Is the idle ALWAYS at 1200 or does it move around a bit? Did you complete the minimum idle adjustment process?

Glad to hear that you got her running consistently! That's some work but for $2K it was WELL worth it.

Later,

When cold it idles at 1100 and when hot 1200 haven't adjusted anything.

Replaced the 6 year old battery today, got a good deal on the Autocraft Gold, paid $82. When I started it the ASR and service engine light came on.
