I would buy them used....due to the lines are completely different...as you know. That is the easiest way.

Go to my photo gallery you can get an idea of what I did. It has being a while I used braided line on and I cut the original lines low close to the headers.

I would look at hooking up at the fuel filter. There is a junction connector there that connects the fuel return lines together, so it's easy to get access to both the supply and return lines at the same place.

You're line to the lt1 rails? I don't the lt1 line coming from the rails will clear the small cap distributor , but I might be wrong.

The lines for an LT1 are stainless steel braided fuel lines that are crimped onto bent steel tubing. They can attach to your current fuel lines under the car by your fuel filer and go right up to your fuel rails. The only thing that I can think of is a special stud on the evaporator case cover that allows the two fuel lines to be secured to it. Other than that...and possible the CORRECT FUEL 'O' rings for your lines at the filter and coupling....they should go right in and connect to the fuel rails. \

You are wrong on this one. The distributor cap does not come into play at all and NOT a factor.

I wanted to note that I had seen two styles of fuel line ends from the LT1 units (if my memory serves me correctly. One style was the kind where you slip fuel hose over the steel fuel line and tighten down w/ a hose clamp. The other looked like double flare fittings. Can someone verify or correct me w/some pics as I am having a difficult time finding some on the internet (I can find pics of lt1 and tpi units, but the fuel line ends and rarely in the pic or at least visible).
