Best way to sell a 2003 Anniversary Edition?
Hello all,
I just inherited a wonderful 2003 C5 Anniversary Edition convertible with 6,600 miles on it, new tires, well maintained, excellent condition. It's in a garage in Tucson, AZ. I need to liquidate this asset to pay bills for my late father, but I am not willing to dump this vehicle for a low ball price. Can anyone recommend the best way to sell this vehicle for a fair price? And what is a fair price? I don't live in Tucson but will be there for a couple weeks in July and I need to make some progress on this. Any and all advice is welcome. Thanks!

Sorry for your loss. A friend of mine just sold his with 20K on it for $18,500. He tried to get $20K but did not have any luck. His was a coupe. Convertibles are worth more. GLWS

Old link but still relevant. When you are ready there is a C5 for sale section here.

Look, I love the Corvette Forum for a lot of reasons, but this isn't the place to sell a car if you are looking for top dollar. I would be a buyer here on CF all day long, but not a seller.
Not saying don't offer it for sale here, but advertise it elsewhere too...locally and nationally.
Sounds like a beautiful AE...love those cars.

Some advice for the op.
Where ever you list it, ask high($24000.) because everyone is going to try and low ball you.
I noticed in your post here, you gave a reason of paying of your late dad's bills.
You should not put that in any ad because it looks like you really need the money quickly, and that is a red flag to buyers.
Just tell people you inherited it from your dad, and have no use for it, and would like to see someone buy it that can appreciate it, instead of storing it.
Hope this will be of help.
Good luck with the sale.
Bob.

Is the AZ title in your late father's name? You should check with the AZ DMV to find out the procedure for transferring the title to a buyer if the title is not in your name. If you are the Executor of the estate, it might make things easier for a sale.
You may want to consider having a detail shop get the car prepped for sale. Tucson in July may be pretty hot to detail a car on your own. You can also do simple checks like oil level, coolant level, brake fluid, and when the fluids were last changed.
If that Corvette sales place in Mesa (link in The Rabbi's post) looks like a place to go, ask them if they will do a consignment for you. Your two week window in July may not give you enough time to get a sale done.

The forum has a place in the C5 section to post the car for sale, I'd start there. Ebay is another place, I've purchased and sold a C5 on there.
As for price, expect to let it go no lower than $18K
