Default Has anyone fitted an aftermarket paddle shift?

I saw a system supposedly for the 4160e box!
Wonder if it works?

Or if there is one out there?

Paddle shifters only work well with dual clutch setups - experience with something like a 4l60e sounds like a nightmare.

However with a ton of effort in tweaking the setup and transmission it MIGHT work "OK" enough to tolerate ... but... no

Yes,,, That would be a NO! I have all MN6 or MN12 six speed cars.

I would love to have a LG Sequential clutchless six speed!

The LAUGH at the end of the video says it all!!!

Have not heard of any paddle shift kits for the C5 but perhaps there is one out there somewhere. Would think it would be a real challenge to get it to work though. If you do find one and decide to do the install, hope you post up a detailed review of the whole process.

MTI has developed a sequential shifter for 6 speed Corvette. They have a video on their website. Awesome piece of engineering. I am sure it is expensive.

I remember the first time I saw that video for the LG sequential... There are no words to describe how awesome this is.

I could never get out of the car if I had one of those, but for $30k...

There is an option for the C5 guys:

Take a T56 and add the PPG gear set for $10k -
http://www.mtiracing.com/pfitzner-pp...road-race.html

Then add a Sequential shifter - (no idea what the cost is, but betting $2k)

... and there you go!

Don't even tempt me.... . You know how bad I want this. I still can't see spending 12k on a trans though.
