03 z06. I was removing the tb today to clean and noticed there is nothing attached here, I believe there is where the coolant hose is supposed to be but it looks like its routed around to the other side of the tb and connected. Whats up with this??

Factory setup ran coolant through the TB to heat it to help eliminate icing in colder winter climates. Many bypass that and avoid the little bit less heat in the TB from the hot coolant. I put a piece of rubber tube on the metal nipple and stuck a small bolt in the tube to keep insects out on my bypass.

HERE YA GO! You can see both coolant tubes. Below is a C6 LS2 TB vs LS1 TB. The LS2 does NOT have any plumbing for coolant at all!

I have had problems with most of the Dorman rubber products, including the front drive shaft boot on the Jeep. Lasted exactly 1 year and 1 day, with a one year warranty of course. Found a US made boot and CV joint for a replacement.

It's sad but any aftermarket piece anymore is junk and so is the warranty
