Definitely update us with your results. That combo of power/weight/gears/tires should lay down some impressive numbers.

Weight is the KILLER for performance.
Rotating weight is the worst.
wheels, tires, flywheel and clutch plates.
for ever 1 lb of rotating wt removed is about equal to 6.5 lbs of static wt removed. ie lighter wheels are the big ones.
~for every 100 lbs removed you may drop 1/10+ or more in the quarter
and 1 full sec on a 2.5 mile road course.

I'm surprised it's not lighter w/o AC, how much do you weigh? My FRC has weighed as light as 2950 w/o me(I'm 150) that's with the same mods as you except passenger seat out, fuel on reserve and thinner windshield Good luck at the track, I expect a 10.x!

This is a topic near to my heart......I'm also surprised your not lighter than that.
I have a list of my weight mods if your interested...I'm at 2885-lbs-ish and just lost some more weight but have not weighted it yet...
Thanks.....and your car looks great, do you ever hit Tulsa Raceway ??

The car was 2900-2920. Scale was bouncing back n forth. I could replace optima with my 15lb and remove seat and be 2850 ish. 100% stock interior. Bigger rear way bar. Heavy exhaust manifolds and full exhaust ti. Full suspension minus front sway bar. Had 1/4 tank of gas. I've never been to Tulsa actually. Want to

That's good then, I figure the passenger seat and a/c are prolly a wash. You don't have headers though?
