I been doing a lot reading, so my question is will a ls2 throttle body work with an ls3 intake manifold. It's going into my c5z06 with a lq9 with PRC ls3 CNC ported heads. What I have read since its a C5 and if I go with a 2009 or newer ls3 throttle body it will throw a bunch of codes when connected to a c5. Then I did a little more reading and the recommend a ls2 throttle body and then an adaporter for the tps to make it work with an ls1/ls6 car. Then I can't find anything on if the ls2 throttle body will fit on an ls3 intake manifold. They are same size and have the same spots to put the bolts the man difference is one opens one way and the other opens the opposite. Other then that is the coloring of the blades.

I have been told you need the Silver Blade LS2/LS7 throttle body to work correctly. the Gold blade will not work as it goes the opposite direction. the 4 bolt LS throttle body's should all have the same bolt pattern if i remember reading correctly.

Ok thanks for your reply! I bought off someone used for $200. I believe it was the LS2/ early ls3/7 throttle bodies. I got the silver bladed one. I sure sure hope it works!
