Default 90mm tb from ls7

I am planning in buying from TPIS a 90mm snout for my 04 c5 corvette. Does the this tb is equal to a ls2 tb ? I mean same location of the bolts and Do I have to program to make it open or close? Please help and remember its going to be on a c5. I will have a custom programing since Im installing a cam. JJ

Alot of guys run the TB from a LS7/LS2 on a Fast 90/92 intake. IIRC you will need a wiring adapter from Casper Electronics (or other vender) and there are 2 different kinds Gold Throttle plate and Silver.. IIRC you need the Gold plate (opens the same direction as stock verses reverse in the Silver.. Correct me if im wrong). The Early LS7 and LS2 TB's should be physically interchangeable as are 3 bolt TB are interchangeable with one another. But you still want to get the Tune adjusted for the changes. I think you have it backwards. He'll need the silver bladed throttle body. The gold is an ls3 unit and opens the opposite direction.

Yes, both are 90mm, so just go with the silver Ls2 TB. The blade opens the correct way and it will work with the c5 computer. The Gold blade does not from what I've heard.

As I've found out first-hand, the gold-bladed TB will not work with the LS1 CPU. You'll need the silver-bladed one.

Running really smooth. You see my post? Found out my coolant leak was a lazy bolt on the WP. Tightened it and now no coolant leak. The oil leak has dissapated somewhat but hasn't gone completely. I changed the oil to Royal Purple break-in oil.
Brakes were mush when I went around the block. Bleeding them now.
