Lone Star Corvette Classic at Texas Motor Speedway
Wanted to let all the forum members know that our Vette club, Lone Star Corvette Club will be hosting it's 22nd Annual Lone Star Corvette Classic at Texas Motor Speedway during the weekend of May 20-22 (Friday, Saturday & Sunday).
Our guest speaker will be Harlan Charles, Corvette's Marketing Manager at Chevorlet. His bio can be viewed on our club's website LSCC.COM (LoneStarCorvetteClub.Com)
You can also get more info at this website. Just look for 'Classic 22'.
We will be having lots and lots of activities the entire weekend. Something for everyone I'm sure. This is our clubs biggest/largest event of the year. Autocross, show n shine, vendor show cases, fun runs, treasure runs and parties and more.....
So, if any forum members happen to be in the Dallas/Ft Worth area during this particular weekend stop on by.....Texas Motor Speedway.....
Lone Star Corvette Club . Com Look for Classic 22.
Hope to see ya there....

This is a great event and an opportunity to drive your Vette on the Texas Motor Speedway. That is worth more then the price of admission.

I'll be there again as well! Can't pass up the opportunity to run the infield course as much as you can handle for $50!

Three day event. Saturday will run all day and into the evening, as long as the party is going, lol. Sunday track day will run pretty much 8-5. Get there early, because the line of vettes to get in will be long! I got there about 7:15 last year and was about the 50th vette in line to get in. Visit Lonestarcorvetteclub.com and you can register for the weekend and whatever you want to participate in. Sunday track day is 50 bucks and you can bring a ride along partner for free. You can also purchase your event t-shirt on the site. Hope to see you there, it is so much fun its unexplainable!!

It would be the best 10 hour trip you ever made. The sunday track day is out of this world fun! I hung out with some guys that drove down from St. Louis last year. They said they have been every year for the last 10 or so years.

How long have you lived in Edmond? I went to school at UCO, graduated way back in 2000. Lived in the North OKC/Edmond areas for about 10 years. You really should attend the event, if anything come for the Sunday track day, you will be hooked for life!
