Default interior mods suggestions?

I have a 2008 black 3lt A6 car with the all black interior. I was looking to spice up the interior some but not looking to spend thousands. Maybe add some color or something? Anyone have any suggestions or pics of what they've done? Pics would be a huge help.

Or is this a bad idea that will end up looking tacky/cheap without shelling out the $$?

You can't beat the looks of a black/red interior.

I know the steering wheel/leather seat covers are expensive, but how much is the other stuff, and was it a kit? or just custom stuff you found around?

All of the trim pieces are OEM I just took them to my bodyshop and had them painted Victory red & then cleared. This way it would be an exact match to the body color.

Less is more, IMO.

All of those interiors look amazing! If you want to add some color on the cheaper side, you can always wrap some trim pieces in vinyl. Tons of colors and relatively easy to do.

A little DSV 2 tone leather and some TKO hydrocarbon really helps.

I am not a big fan of most interior upgrades, but I like this!!

Especially the center tunnel addition of the diamond pattern.

Jake emblems and lightening I can do without but the overall look is nice.

I think that most of us have spent thousands to upgrade the interiors. New leather, new seats, carbon fiber (even hydroprint), door panels is going to cost you $4-5k by the time you are done. More if you start leather covering the dash.

I have seen a few people that did Carbon Fiber 3M wrap themselves and the results are outstanding! That might be the best bang for the buck if you can learn the knack. There are some recent threads about this, so do a search and see if it is your cup of tea.

That's what I did and it cost me a whole $30 plus a couple hours to do it myself. It is no way as nice as these interiors or real carbon fiber, but to me it looks better than the GM hydrocarbon console. If I had an endless budget my car would look like mcandrew67's! I used 3M 1080 on my interior trim pieces, but just got some new 4D vinyl in yesterday and like the look of it much more. The 1080 looks like dry carbon fiber, where the 4D is much glossier.

Here is a couple pics of the 1080 on some parts I did.
