Default Electric window problem

2006 C6. Passenger window goes down using switch on drivers side but won't roll up unless I use the switch on the passenger side. What would the likely problem be?
Thanks
Walt

Does the switch on the passenger side bring the window up and down ? if it does i would say the switch on the driver side is bad, others on this forum have said the window switches were fairly easy to replace.

Then that should rule out bad window motor, regulator, drive belts or any of the mechanics which move the window up and down, i would replace the driver side switch and see if that solves your problem, i think the switches are fairly cheap.

According to the wiring schematic, the driver switch for the passenger side sends signal to the computer data line system. Both the window down and up switch position are sent through the data link to the Front Passenger Door Module.
Since the signal is being received for the down position, that means that the data link is OK.
The only thing to check is the switch itself on the driver door for the passenger side. Check to see that the connector is making good contact on the pins. Spray contacts with a contact cleaner.

Good luck
