Default SCM (seat) Class 2 serial data (AAB) ?

2011 ZR1, What is the purpose of the serial data link. I have 8 wires that goes to this but end link and the connector is designed so all the wires ending there are linked together ?
I am asking this question because I expanded my driver power seat to heated, memory and bladder enabled. Also expanded the passenger seat to power , heated and bladder.
I have wired up everything except one last wire in the driver seat harness that goes to the SCM (seat) Class 2 serial data,(AAB).

Ok great thanks for the info makes sense now I found both links and fortunately I have the shop manual that shows me where this wire from the drivers seat goes.
It made no sense to me why the drivers seat would be connected to the data link but I guess that's the way it is.
gotta love these high tech vehicles.
