Got tubular front bar done.

Filter system is simple. 5" inlets from filters to rail ends and from rails to turbos 4". Filters are big enough, lets see if can break 15 kilos on crank..

How do you like the Everlast welder?

I've been looking at them.. they seem to get the "OMG IT'S CHINESE CRAP!!1!" response, or people really like them.

It mostly seems to depend on whether you get a good, working unit from the get go from what I've found so far. Their backlog to repair units isn't short

Three years no any issue. Cheap but good what I think. One friend is an aluminium welder and has worked now almost three years with same 250 amps with cooler I have every day welding aluminum boats.. No problems.. Buy, it's really worth of bucks, Chinese **** or not.

Yeah, that's what I keep thinking as well. I think I'm going to pick up one of their lower end machines just to get started.. the bad part is to get anything with AC you end up having to spend a good bit more money. I was looking at their 200DX... I've only TIG welded a few times but would like to learn.

Yeah man the welds look good.. that's why I started looking in the background to see what welder you were using and saw green.. I think they're good welders but if there's an issue it does seem to take longer to get it fixed than it should, and you have to pay the freight to get it back to them, so that sucks. Have to remember on the internet that you always hear from people when there are problems.. a lot less people come on to give praise but everyone posts when something goes wrong. I can't justify spending the kind of money Miller charges so I think they are probably my best lower-cost option.

The torch they include looks like it would be way too big. What torch are you using?

Which model welder is it anyways? 200DX? Or did you get one with the plasma cutter built in?

Good to know thanks. I'll have to do some more research on them. I have a 25% off anything deal that they owe me from a long time ago.. so that might be enough to make the price right!

Changing plugs looks like fun.

This build just gets more insane with every post

You're right but it's possible, just need "special tool" and small hands

Muffler deletes under progress..
