On our 3,088 mile trip home we averaged 28.2+ mpg and 68.2+ mph on the total trip. Two tankfuls averaged over 31+ mpg and we were running at a minimum of 10 over. In New Mexico and Arizona this is
80+ as the speed limit is 70 or 75 mph.
Great car and outstanding mileage with excellent power.
Enjoy!

I have no doubts that a stock LS2 C6 with a manual transmission could even see a sustained 33mpg+ on a dead level highway, some air in the tires and a steady foot.

[QUOTE=1987 C4 25969;1565778317]I would like to know if a new C6 Corvette can get 30 MPG freeway driving??
At 60-65 MPH???
Thanks[/QUOTE
My 07 C6 MN6 can easily. Especially at speeds that slow. I wish my 07 5.7L Tundra got half the mileage my C6 gets.

as others have stated, yep, no problem, well, it depends upon what fuel you use. cheap gas = cheap mileage, good gas = good mileage.

The only thing that bothers me is the people that say we're lying because there's no way 400+ HP cars can get that kind of MPG. I say welcome to the 21st century where the Corvette is the best economy car in the world.

The best I ever got with my M6 99 C5 was 34.1 mpg. Now with my 06 A6 the best I've gotten is 29 mpg on a 730 mile trip where my average speed was 62 mph. Not too bad, but,I don't have as many miles on the A6 yet. But freeway miles are one thing, but, here's another. I drive from my house to Raceway Park in Englishtown, N.J. , race all day and drive back. That adds up over 156 miles. My average, 21.8 mpg. Try that in any other car that turns 12.4's & you'll be lucky to get near 18 mpg.

Not sure how accurate the instant MPG is on my car but it reads:
35 MPg at 50.
32 MPG at 62.
30 MPG at 70.
2006 C6 coupe with A6
Mods are: Vararam, LG Pro's, Z06 mufflers, and Tune.

Absolutely.
Confirmed many times over the 40K I've got on my 2006. I calculate manually, not using the onboard computer, which actaully reads a little low for MPG average.
Over 30 many times, at cruising speeds up to about 85. Then it drops off a bit......to like 28-29.

On certain legs of an Interstate trip averaging 75-80mph I was able to get just over 30 mpg with the stock LS2 engine. After replacing the stock engine with the LPE 403 motor I was able to get 28 mpg on certain stretches...not too shabby.
