Mine are silver painted speedlines with wheel weights, metal valve stem and no center cap and came in at 18.5 pounds. They appear to be normal aluminum to me.

thanks a lot. That makes it tough for me to put my tires on a set of wheels I just bought.. They weigh almost 31 pounds each.... That's a huge difference but I might have to use them to get my contact patch flat

I got 15lbs out of my car just by swapping in a smaller battery.

Do you still have the Z brakes on the rear ?

You could save some unsprung rotating weight by going to base brakes.

These are the stock C5 Z06 OEM 17 x 9.5 front wheels and the weight is pretty accurate. No other C5 is that size. There are several C4 wheels in that size, but none weigh less.

For anyone that wonders the weight of the C5Z/hoosier combo. I just pulled my rear drag pack off and they both weigh 43 pounds
C5Z fronts with 315/35/17 hoosiers
hoosier lists the weight at 26 for that tire which would make the wheel 17.
I'm pretty sure that the wheels are closer to 19 as listed(sevinn said his are 18.5, mine have caps and balancing weights on them). So the tire probably weighs closer to 24 than 26.
I weighed the ZR1 wheels and they are 27.3 pounds...
So.......... for the difference of 17 pounds I think I'm going to run the ZR1 wheels. What good is a light wheel if I can't get off the line? The contact patch should be much better on this 11 wide wheel

Agreed the extra hook should make up the difference. You burned a little rubber off those Hoosiers, not sure about 2lbs worth tho lol

my polished OEM 5 spoke rears 19 x 10 with MT ET STREET RADIALS 305/35/19 are 70 pounds each. didnt weigh tire and rim seperately.43 would be much better than 70

results are in and I am much happier with the heavier wider wheels. I was able to run 20 psi and get my first 1.2x 60'!!!!

The highlighted weights are what you are looking for. If you have the forged wheels they will be a little heavier. Cast wheels are Speedlines while I believe the forged are from Alcoa.
