The car had the heads and cam on it when I bought it. But was tuned super conservative making around 450whp. I was only running 11.7@118 when I first bought the car. There isn't a dyno near me or I would get numbers.

Oh yeah I bought hptuners from him and for 175 more he did a tune. So far all his advice has worked for the best. The car ran 11.4@123 in the middle of the day with a da around 1500. I was having tire issues. Got my tires fixed and boom 11.0@126 then 10.9@127.

Have any power numbers? Aren't those heads awesome?
It's a 08 so it's a ls3. So far the heads have been pretty good. The only issue I have had was a oil leak but that's because a shop put on the valve cover gasket wrong somehow before I bought the car

Good job.

SPEED SAFE, NICK
that's been a goal of mine since I first went drag racing back in 08 when I was 18. I really didn't plan on the car running 10s so when it happened I was thrilled. Besides for towing the car about 2 hours to get the boot 10 minutes after unloading it.

Hopefully with the drag pack it'll be a little faster now.

Great pass, ET and top speed! Obviously putting out some power! I'm surprised at the 1.6 sec 60 ft. Our C3 runs 1.47 sec 60 fts with 11.30 ETs ~115 top end. Weight is 3,200 lbs with me in the car. Do C6s have gears, weight or hooking issues?

this was only my second pass in the car since I fixed a few issues. The car has factory 2:56 gears. I have some 3:42s as extra incase i break the ones ij the car. I'm still trying to learn the torque convertor. I'm sure it would of gotten better but I was kicked off the track after this pass.

asd_srt has more power, but less gear multiplication and a bit more weight. His 1.6 60' with a 3200 stall is compensated downtrack by the 128 mph. For reference, my bolt-on never broke the 1.7 mark with a 3200, but went 1.48 with a 4000. The power and weight wasn't much different, however the ET's were easily .7 sec quicker.

His (and mine) overall gear ratio is 10.32 in 1st and I'm guessing yours is around 12-13.

Very nice run!

There isn't anything like getting asked to leave the track until you upgrade the safety equipment. It is a bummer and satisfying all at the same time!

That’s what I assumed, if you were hooking, had to be gears and stall. Our C3 has a 3500 stall and 3.73 gears behind a 700 R4 which is equivalent to 4.11s behind a T400. Not to mention slicks.
Great pass for sure! I’m not in a hurry to compromise street manners, so will leave driveline as is for now…

Same here. I like knowing I can hop in the car and drive anywhere without issues. The only reason I don't daily drive the vette is because when I did someone hit the car and drove off leaving black marks all over the bump er. I'm not worried about my truck being hit it's solid.
