You need the chassis, brakes, suspension, tires, etc. to support it.

Then why do people put headers and cam on cars? This car can use another 100 hp with all the stock components. I'll never track my car so it's really just for the extra power when passing or accelerating. I would install a blower and leave everything else stock if it didn't blow my 100k 10 year warranty.

So, you're having problems passing other cars with your stock Stingray? My Equinox has problems with that, not any of my Vettes(yes even the 76!). LOL!

My point is that I want more power in all driving conditions and situations and not all of those situations require more extensive braking or traction from the tires.

Default Grand Sport price

My 2017 Grand Sport will be less than $7000 more than my 2015 Z51 was. I think that is very reasonable.

Besides being a GS what other options will your new car have over the older one?

Thanks.

First you wanted 200hp more now you've reduced it to 100hp...big difference.

A cam and headers would most likely be less than 100hp.

The point remains. Why add power without supporting mods? Because those mods are not important in most driving scenarios. Anyway, Chevy doesn't make the option I want. But Edelbrock has a solution. Too bad it's not compatible with my extended warranty.

Personally, I prefer the look of the base car over the ZO6. So the GS has absolutely no appeal to me. Thanks for posting.
