Default MicroFiber Towels from Sam's Club????

Has anyone purchased the bulk pkg of MF towels that Sam's Club is selling? Has anyone done the CD-scratch test with them? They are a great buy if they are good quality? Please let me know...Thanks

I did the same thing on the first trip the package had 12 16 x 16 towels for 8.59? then on the second trip I saw a larger package for a few dollars more got 16 of 16 x 16 towels for 10.59?
There are alot of people though who say you have to be careful with these micro fibers and say that the 100% microfiber Made in the USA towels don't scratch your finish and are much safer. So I don't know but these towels thus far make a great chamois for drying the car.

Someone in a post above said they passed the CD scratch test.

I use them for paint/chrome/top/and windows.......now scratching.

Now I heard that using these removes the car wax!!

I use the MF's from Costco on windows and the MF's from DF towels on the body for polish(Z-2) removal and detailing spray (Z-6) product.
The DF microfibers are much more softer, thicker and expensive than the Costco towels.

The same manufacturer now offers a blue microfiber at Sam's. I bought a pack and something is different. I have found that over time the yellow one's lint the alot more than when new. Usually after a month of use or 5 or 6 washing I retire them to wheel well towels and get out a couple of new ones. At 8.00 a bundle you can't go wrong.

http://www.microfiberplus.com/

A few Zaino distibutors on the forum also sell the DF towels.
Pick up some Zaino at the same time.
Maybe they'll post.
DF are a night and day difference compared to the Costco/Sam's club MFers.

I quit using those on glass for the same reason. The reflection of the lint makes the glass look like it been scratched.

They work good for wrapping around an application pad and applying Zaino. Nothing beats a DF towel for removal.

Later,

That is why you do the scratch test before you use the MF towel to determine if it will scratch or not.
