The big question now is: Will the Hellcat beat the Cayman GT4's ring lap?

If the GT4 does the ring in reverse then the Hellcat just may have a chance.

You have to understand the level of Dave68's spastic Porsche hate to get how he could say something that stupid.

Porsche Cayman GT4 displayed as a toy car

What an awesome idea.

From the article:
Porsche has found a funny way of showcasing the recently introduce range-topping GT4 version of the Cayman.

The Stuck brothers........ both professional race car drivers...... go at it with a Carrera GTS vs Cayman GT4.
Younger brother is in the GT4.

Default Porsche Cayman GT4

Great Car to consider over a Corvette.

However, there will be none at that price, $84K, They will be limited to xxxx numbers and will come out with more options, this car will be over $100k, and still not as quick as a C7, never mind the Z06.

I think the car looks great and will drive fantastic. If you have 100k, there are many cars out there ...

You've totally missed my sarcasm.....

We've been reading 3 posts a day about how superior the hellcat is compared to a C7 Z06. Thus, I fully expected a similar comment to be posted about how much better the hellcat is vs the new Cayman.

Default Porsche GT4

My response had nothing to do with your comment, with Porsche you need to add $15k on the base MSRP.

My current ride is a 2015 GTR, but considered all the competition ....

I called a few dealers and the GT4 are all previous sold, i would take the Z06

The C7 is not a purpose-built track car. You might want to compare the Viper ACR to the GT4. Which will be faster on most tracks?

And the C7 Z06 heat issues will be worked out, just like the horrible 911 handling issues were.

The "horrible 911 handling issues" were worked out several generations of 911 ago. Although some people still love the wild and wooly handling of the old cars.

Your desperation to bash Porsche often leads you to say really dumb stuff.

And the ACR competes directly with the GT3, not the GT4. It may well be faster than the GT3, in the hands of a pro driver. For anyone else, either car is just "silly fast".

My point is that the GT3 and 4 are track cars; the C7 is not. The C6Z had some scary handling traits when it was introduced but GM made very large improvements, shortly afterward. I expect them to do the same with the C7 Z06.

Fair enough... much more reasonably expressed than your earlier comments.
