This is going to be a fun one, level on top, no camber at corner til you get around. There will be a lot of folks trying out that new run-off.

Actually, there is a bit of down hill in the braking zone, then flattens out, then corner. I expect that there will be a lot of people trying out the new top soil and grass.

The weather forecast for April 4th is looking really good! Turn2 has a track day on that particular day at the Ridge Motorsports Park. Check it out!

There is another incredible weekend coming up! Friday and Saturday May 1st and 2nd is another Turn2 event at the Ridge Motorsports Park. There is still room available to register on MSR for this event. This is an incredible way to start the driving season!

Tom, did this reconfiguration have any impact on lap times?

Looks like it adds 1 sec +- depending on car/driver. I'd be interested in hearing what folks have found too.

The newly reconfigured turn 13 really doesn't add any time to the laps. John D. in his race truck pulled a 1:45 in qualifying a year ago. Two weeks ago in qualifying, he pulled a 1:45. I think that I am actually quicker as I can now see the apex instead of guessing when it was down around the corner. That makes it much nicer.

Checking on the weather, we are looking at a great next weekend at the Ridge for Turn2 on Friday the 15th and Saturday the 16th. Come on out and play. If nothing else, come and see me and I can put you in the right seat for a fun ride!

Pacific Raceways has announced today that the Figerio family has decided to take the track off of the market and continue operations as usual.

I'll be at the ORP on 14th! It will be hot, 89 degrees F, but I love the open track format and the fact that it is 15x safer than Pacific Raceways.
