Well, "narrow Vette" must be a C6 or C7.

So:

285 tire at 65mm rear wheel offset
295 tire at 70mm rear wheel offset
305 tire at 75mm rear wheel offset
315 tire at 79mm rear wheel offset

Then each tire size is on its spec wheel width
.

It's a C6
S77 medium pad 18x10 69mm and the tire will be M/T 305/35R18
What do you think?

A 305/35-18 on the 18 x 10.5 75mm wheel would be okay.

The reason is that the wider wheel doesn't effect the top of the tire very much but wheel offset moves the top of the tire by the amount of the offset difference.

Here's another rear wheel:

Oz Alleggerita, 18 x 11, 75mm
.

Does the Oz fit the C7 Stingray and clear the factory Z51 brakes?

It fits the C6 rear and so it is very likely to fit the C7 rear. But it will cost $449 to find out.

Here's the track and autocross setup:

C7 front, 18 x 10.5, 58mm, C5 Z06 rear wheel, 315/30-18 Rival S tire
C7 rear, 18 x 11, 75mm, Oz Alleggerita, 315/30-18 Rival S tire

Of course, the tire stagger is lost but the Rival S is not available in very many sizes. Also, that's a short rear tire.

Here's another setup:

Front, 19 x 10.5, 59mm Oz Superleggeria III wheel, 295/30-19 Pilot Sport Cup 2 tire
Rear, 19 x 11, 75mm, Oz Superleggeria III wheel, 315/30-19 Pilot Sport Cup 2 tire

Or go to the Weld web site and order CCW two-piece wheels
.
