I’m not quite sure how I missed this one, but considering that it’s built on the beloved C6 platform, I figured it’s deserving of a few comments here, good or bad.

The Soleil Anadi, hand-built in Italy, was showcased at the recent New York International Auto Show and so far counts three owners in the Middle East as its exclusive customer base, according to a New York Times report.

Price? $299,995.

The car, which the New York Times article describes in the headline as “Adding Some Elegance to Corvette,” is powered by a 6.2-liter, 651-horsepower V8 with a supercharger. Company officials claim the Soleil Anadi will go from zero to 62 mph in 3.2 seconds with a top speed of 201 mph.

The primary target markets for the Soleil Anadi, which means “no limits” in Hindi, are Brazil, Russia, India and China.
