OPTIMA Presents Corvette of the Week: One Sweet Sting Ray

1965 C2 Corvette 327-365 Factory Air-Conditioned Coupe Home

Chimney Rock, Angels Window in the Grand Canyon, Cumberland Gap, Mount Rainier — just a sampling of some of the best sights in America … oh, and this 1965 Corvette Sting Ray 327/365 factory air-conditioned coupe. My eyeballs want to stick to this car like sap on a maple tree.

This particular C2 can attribute its beauty to the full frame-off restoration it underwent in 2008, and its original drivetrain lies underneath its beautiful Goldwood Yellow exterior. That Goldwood Yellow reminds me of a type of lemonade with which I want to deluge myself during an egg-frying-on-the-asphalt summer day.

Good golly, this is one beautiful car, and it just happens to be listed in the “C1s & C2s for Sale/Wanted” section of our forum. David Kempf (“Davids02“) deserves a lot of love for his listing. This is one of the most beautiful cars I’ve ever seen for sale on Corvette Forum.
