My wifes' bachelor Uncle passed last week. Funeral was Saturday. He was a veteran of Korea. Military honors and Dad was presented with the flag. I asked him if he wanted me to build a flag case for it, he told me, "Yes, that would be a nice gesture" So I did one...finished it today.
To start off, I'm in the process of pricing some new tires for mine. Only 12k miles on the oem runcraps.
Then it'll be alignment time!
I'm curious...the Gyears are gone at 12k miles. I'm guessing the wear pattern was bad...correct? Why wouldn't you have done the alignment earlier?

'Cause I'm stupid and wasn't keeping up on the threads about the alignment issues. Then it was too late for me.

Bad wear seems like it can show up overnight...and once it starts it's too late!

By the way everyone, if you drop the rear on the Grandsport (on the stock bolts) without dropping the front do you need to do any alignment work?
IMHO...anytime you change ride height...even if dropped both ends the same amount...it needs an alignment. Perhaps someone smarted that me can chime in.
Also, the bad thing about a GS thread is there are some real smart folks (ie Fort Morgan Al, HOXXOH, cclive, etc) that my not bother to come in...just sayin.
On the positive side, you guys might be smarter than us Z owners... If I would have known about some of the issues with Z's, I would be part of your club and not trolling haha... I love all Corvettes! I did have mine addressed and Love it.
